Emergency Assistance Ministry
The Emergency Assistance Ministry is the homelessness prevention component of Greenville Community shelter services. EAM provides financial assistance and counseling to people who are in a crisis state of financial emergency or with past due bills that threaten a basic need. The goal of EAM is to help clients address an immediate need while retaining family stability, dignity and independence.
- Provides emergency financial assistance and counseling for homelessness prevention on a case-by-case basis when a reasonable expectation of improved stability is present. Types of assistance include utilities, rent/mortgage, medicine and food.
